Bluetooth pairing is accomplished within the BMW Motorrad Connected app and is required only once for the initial setup. After being turned on for the next trip, the devices will reconnect automatically upon being detected.-For reliable attachment of the smartphone in the ConnectedRide Cradle, BMW Motorrad recommends removing the smartphone cover if it impedes, due to its dimensions, optimum fit of the smartphone in the ConnectedRide Cradle or disrupts inductive charging capability.Note: Cannot be used with in-dashboard style Navigator docking stations or the 4-button Advance Cradle.
